ON THE LAKE IN GERMIGNAGA

Overlooking Lake Maggiore, the Boschetto and Le Fontanelle parks in Germignaga offer two splendid green areas ideal for experiencing nature, relaxing or having fun

Parco Boschetto, located at the mouth of the Tresa River, is a large green lung with a pine forest and suggestive views of the Tresa islet, a refuge for migratory birds. Redeveloped in 2010, it hosts areas dedicated to children, dogs and events. An original bridge connects it to the nearby Parco Le Fontanelle.

The latter, inaugurated in 2009, is very popular with both residents and tourists. Large, sunny and overlooking the lake.In addition to an original "vertical pool" - a refreshing fountain - it has a beach volleyball court, an equipped beach, a kiosk and a camper area.

To complete the picture, on the edge of the Fontanelle, the historic heliotherapy colony, called "la Bislunga": built in 1933, it has a shape that recalls a large docked ship, unique in its kind.
