THE GAVIRATE LIDO

The Gavirate Lido, overlooking the calm waters of Lake Varese, is an ideal destination for families, tourists and sports enthusiasts.

This large, well-kept and well-equipped green space offers numerous opportunities for recreation and relaxation in an enchanting natural setting. The lido is crossed by the cycle/pedestrian path that runs along the lake, along which there are welcoming bars with panoramic views. A few steps from a characteristic wooden pier suspended over the lake, there is a beautiful, shaded and well-kept playground, perfect for the little ones.

Continuing along the tree-lined avenue, you come across the camper area and the headquarters of the historic "Canottieri Gavirate", a national and international reference point for rowing. The characteristics of the lake, with its calm waters, make it ideal for this sport. Gavirate hosts the Australian Institute of Sport, a European athletic training center for rowing and cycling.

The Lido is also a lively events center, thanks to an area equipped with tensile structures that hosts events, concerts and food stands from spring to early autumn.
