The Orino Woods and the Enchanted Path

Starting from Orino, a small pre-Alpine village nestled on the slopes of Monte Campo dei Fiori, this 11 km, 360-meter elevation gain route follows comfortable trails in the heart of the regional park.

Along the way you pass through dense beech forests, silent clearings and clear streams. The most striking section is certainly the so-called "Enchanted Trail": a route enriched with wood carvings, art installations and small surprises that make the walk ideal even for families with curious children.

You will find ancient cultivated terraces, evidence of a time when every meter of land was precious. You also reach a place known and renowned for its beauty, Pian delle Noci.

The panorama gradually opens up over Lake Varese and the Prealps chain, offering panoramic rest stops ideal for a break. The trail is well maintained and easily navigable, perfect for those who want to approach the mountain without facing challenging elevation changes.
